Good overview and I think the weakest on there is Yahoo answers since the entire system is built for immediate answers and people are very unlikely to visit the sources linked especially because of the amount of referrals and self promotion occuring.

  Yeah I’ve seen a couple of those, the paid blog post scam is bad but it only works once since then they’re paypal id or whatever is banned and can’t be used again.

  A lot of them are do follow but don’t allow for links to be posted before being modded or link through a redirection. I think cnet does that.
• Aikido Link building method
  “links from sites which are finance related but not mentioning credit cards and or loans, mortgages etc”

  Yes I think that’s fine, but realistically there is overlap so it wouldn’t really matter. And these ideal terms for link building not mandatory.
