Tired of Making Chump Change Online?

If you are doing niche marketing and you have a blog, it’s a good idea to build a community around your content. Why is community so important? It has many key benefits that will save you a lot of time, effort and money.

1. The first key benefit is that your community can tell you what kind of content that they need. In other words, they’re doing your homework for you. They know what their needs are; you just need to give them means to communicate those needs so you can cater to those needs. Having a community is the best way to tweak your content’s strategy so you’re always filling your users’ needs.

2. Your community can be your biggest promoter. When people feel that they are listened to and they matter, they become emotionally invested in something. Get your users emotionally invested in whatever it is you’re doing. In other words, they become your free evangelists. They will go to their friends and family and they will gather information and they will spread the word about your website or your service. The key is to use the community in such a way to give them psychological benefits so that they are excited about spreading the word about your website or your service.

3. The community helps you expand your business because they can give you all sorts of feedback regarding the way you’re doing things that you can’t get normally. You can’t get this information through trial and error; it will just be too expensive. Community is a great way to get feedback so you can do more of the things that you are doing right and to do less of the things that you are doing wrong. So how do you build a community around your content? The best way to build a community is to establish a forum. There are many different forum plugins and there’s lots of forum software available online. You need to put in the time and effort to get a forum going by seeding it with your content. Another great way to establish community around your content is to enable Facebook comments. The great thing about Facebook comments is that people from Facebook and their friends will be able to see the comment and may be able to pull more traffic from Facebook. Finally, work your comment section correctly. If you install WordPress, it already comes with a comments feature. Work it properly. Use a profile avatar, use an about the author link and section and respond to anybody and everybody that responds to your posts. Get them emotionally involved, engage them.
